PTAC-Integrated Windows

A window assembly coordinated with a packaged terminal opening in the same wall area.

Hotel window with glass above a through-wall louver
Reference photograph for this category. Confirm type, size, and finish from the project documents.

PTAC-integrated windows are requested when the architectural opening and the mechanical sleeve share a wall. The window quote has to follow the sleeve width and height on the mechanical drawings. Division 8 USA does not publish a standard sleeve size on this site.

Send the PTAC manufacturer and model only if they are already on the schedule. Do not assume a sleeve dimension from a unit type.

Where it is specified

  • Hotel and multifamily rooms with a through-wall terminal
  • Senior living rooms with a packaged terminal unit
  • Renovations replacing both the sleeve and the adjacent glass

Confirm before pricing

  • These figures are manufacturer-published reference values. They are not a Division 8 USA test report, warranty, or product approval.
  • No standard sleeve width or height is published here. Send the sleeve size from the mechanical drawings.
  • U ≤ 0.5 is published in watts per square meter kelvin. An NFRC U-factor in Btu/h·ft²·°F was not published, and this site does not convert the number.
  • A repeated construction list on the source pages mentions a tilt-turn AAMA CW-PG60 rating. That line is not treated as a PTAC-specific rating because the same paragraph is pasted onto other window types.

Questions

Before you price this item.

What does PTAC-integrated mean here?

The window opening is priced together with the packaged terminal sleeve shown on the drawings.

Do you choose the PTAC unit?

No. Send the mechanical schedule. The window request is coordinated to that opening.

Are the performance numbers on this page a Division 8 USA test report?

No. They are manufacturer-published reference figures. The quote follows the specification section and the mechanical sleeve size.
